If I allow a substitute, how does this work?

If I allow a substitute, how does this work?

At checkout, you can choose to allow substitutes for individual items or for your entire order.

Allowing substitutes means that if your selected item is unavailable at the time your order is picked, our online team will do their best to choose a suitable alternative.
For example, if you order Lewis Road Blue Top Milk and it is out of stock, our team may substitute it with a similar blue top milk option.
We recommend leaving notes or preferences on any items where you allow substitutes, as this helps our team select the most appropriate alternative for you.

If you choose not to allow substitutes and your item is unavailable, it will simply be removed from your order and you will not be charged for it.
